Our Commitment

Fix47 is committed to ensuring that fix47.com is accessible to all users, including people with disabilities. We build and sell web accessibility remediation services — which means we hold ourselves to the same standards we deliver for clients.

We aim for conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA, as published by the W3C Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities.

Conformance status: Partially conformant. We continually work to improve conformance and address issues as they are identified.

Audit method: Automated scanning (axe-core 90+ rules) + manual keyboard and screen reader testing of critical user flows (scan input, report delivery, checkout).

Tools and Testing Methods

  • axe-core — automated accessibility rule engine (90+ WCAG rules), run against all primary pages
  • Keyboard navigation testing — manual tab order, focus management, and keyboard trap verification (WCAG SC 2.1.1, 2.1.2, 2.4.3, 2.4.7)
  • Screen reader testing — VoiceOver (macOS/iOS) for critical flows including scan input, report page, and checkout redirect
  • Colour contrast — verified against WCAG 2.2 SC 1.4.3 (minimum 4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text) using WebAIM Contrast Checker
  • Responsive / zoom — tested at 200% and 400% zoom per WCAG SC 1.4.4 and 1.4.10 (Reflow)

Known Limitations

We are aware of the following areas where conformance is not yet complete:

  • Some complex animated scan-flow components may not fully meet reduced-motion preferences (WCAG SC 2.3.3 AAA) on all browsers — we use prefers-reduced-motion where supported
  • Third-party payment checkout (Stripe Checkout) is hosted on stripe.com and governed by Stripe's own accessibility policy

We are actively working to address these limitations in upcoming releases.

  • HTML5
  • CSS (including ARIA landmark roles and live regions)
  • JavaScript (React / Next.js) with server-side rendering for core content
